Homemade Krispy Kremes Recipe

3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp boiling water
1 tsp dry active yeast
8 oz all purpose flour (a little under 2 cups -)
1 1/2 oz sugar (about 3 tablespoons)
1 egg
1 oz butter, cold to room temperature ( don’t melt it,)
dash of salt

Enough oil to cover the bottom few inches of a wok, or a deep fryer.

Directions:
1.In a large measuring cup, combine the milk and boiling water. Add a teaspoon of the sugar and the yeast. Stir it gently, then leave it in a warm place for the yeast to activate


2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, the rest of the sugar, and the salt. Cut in the butter using your fingers or a pastry blender, until it resembles crumbs.


3.Add the egg (give it a quick beat) and yeast mixture to the flour mix, and mix into a smooth dough. This usually takes about 5 minutes of mixing.


4.Turn the dough out onto a lightly-floured counter and knead for about 5 to 10 minutes—it should feel springy and little bubbles should form under the surface. Place it back in the bowl, cover with a cloth or plastic wrap, and let rise for about an hour until double in size.


5.Once risen, place the dough onto the counter and cut it into 4 pieces. One piece at a time, stretch it into a long rope about an inch to an inch and a half wide. Cut strips about an inch long, ball em up with your hands, and place them on a baking tray or wire rack to wait.


6.Cover the doughnuts holes with a cloth to rise while you heat the oil to 375F.
Place the doughnuts into the oil and fry until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes. Be sure to fry only a few at a time so they don’t overcrowd and stick together.


7.Drain on a paper towel or wire rack over a cloth, before glazing them. Be sure to glaze them warm, or else they won’t get that delicious coverage!

Glaze:

1/3 cup butter
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 tablespoons hot water or as needed

BANANA SPLIT CAKE RECIPE

1 can (20oz) crushed pineapple, drained
6 bananas, divided
2 pkg (3.4 oz ea.) vanilla instant pudding
2 cups cold milk
2 cups cool whip, divided
1 cup chopped pecans

1 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
1 cup sugar, divided
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 – 8 oz pkg cream cheese
Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter. Press into bottom if 13×9-inch pan.

Beat cream cheese and remaining sugar with mixer until well blended. Spread carefully over crust and top with pineapple. Slice 4 bananas and arrange over pineapple.

Beat pudding mix and milk with whisk for 2 min. Until well blended. Stir in 1 cup cool whip and spread over banana layer in pan. Top with remaining cool whip. Refrigerate for 5 hours. Slice remaining banana just before serving and arrange over dessert, then top with nuts.

Banana Yummies Easy Recipe

Cut up banana slices and then put then peanut butter between them. Put them in the freezer for 1 hour, then cover them in melted chocolate and put them back in the freezer for another 2-3 hours

Kentucky Hot Brown Bake Recipe

INGREDIENTS
8 oz package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 lb. package smoked turkey lunch meat
8 slices cooked bacon
8 slices Swiss cheese
3 Roma tomatoes, sliced thin
4 eggs, beaten

INSTRUCTIONS
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 2 squares.
Place one square in bottom of 8″ pan that is greased or lined with parchment paper.
Press dough to fit pan.
Layer with half the turkey, bacon, cheese and tomatoes.
Pour half the eggs over the top.
Repeat the layers.
Top with remaining dough square.
Pour remaining eggs over top.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, covered with foil. Remove foil and bake another 20-25 minutes.
Let sit at room temp for 15-20 minutes before serving.
